I love connecting with the community to bring them yummy and adorable cookies for all of the special moments in life.

Cookie decorating came to me as a hobby and creative outlet when I was struggling with the stresses of parenting a child with special needs. I started making custom sugar cookies for my family and friends and hosted decorating classes from my home in Chardon. Over the years, my community of cookie customers continued to GROW.
From several dozen cookies a month in 2011 to nearly 5,000 our last December in the home bakery, my little kitchen performed admirably and earned its baking retirement. In 2018, I opened the D is for Delicious storefront in Chardon, Ohio, and added other tasty flavors of cookies to the menu. Since then, our cookie family has loved being a part of so many special moments by making adorable treats for our clients.
To me, cookies are an opportunity to connect with people, and learn their stories. I love that our cookies are a part of celebrating new lives, new loves, graduations, and milestones.

Now that we have taken this big step by moving out of our home and into our shop, my team and I can do even more classes and orders. I feel blessed every day that God worked it out so I could earn a living being a part of so many of your lives. I get to celebrate your babies, cheer on your graduates, well wish your birthday buddies, high-five your sports achievements and even send some "sugar" to those who could use some cheering up.
Confucius said, "find a job that you love, and you will never work a day in your life."
I would be lying if I said that making cookies isn't hard work because it is! But one thing for sure is that when I'm elbow-deep in dough and icing, I'm in a happy place I never thought I would get to. Some people think that finding a job you love will bring you that joy, but I think the real joy comes from doing something that brings others happiness.
It is my prayer that you will feel the joy that you have put in my heart with every cookie that comes your way.
